Edwin van der Sar has revealed he hopes to return to Manchester United one day when his contract with Ajax expires.
The former Dutch goalkeeper was United’s No. 1 for six years before deciding to hang up his gloves in 2011.
Since then, he has since returned to take a behind-the-scenes role at his hometown club Amsterdam. He emerges as one of the potential candidates to replace Ed Woodward, whose contract expires in the coming weeks.
