Arsenal are likely to be without Martin Odegaard until December after struggling to recover.

Odegaard has not played in Arsenal’s last seven games in all competitions after picking up an injury while playing for Norway in their 2-1 Nations League win over Austria in mid-September.

Previously, the 25-year-old star revealed good news that his recovery from the injury is getting better and better and he may have a chance to return to help his club after the international break. 

There appeared to be positive signs earlier this week when the club released a clip of him running on the pitch and continuing his recovery.

However, the possibility of a comeback appears unlikely, with Emirates Stadium insider Con Harrison reporting that the Gunners captain has struggled with his recovery and is unlikely to return until December.

For the post-international break, Arsenal will ยูฟ่าเบท start with a Premier League trip to Bournemouth on Saturday, October 19, before a UEFA Champions League home clash with Shakhtar Donetsk, followed by a big league match against Liverpool on Sunday, October 27.  

Arteta has maintained a coy stance throughout.

Odegaard, meanwhile, provided a positive recovery update ahead of the 3-1 victory over Southampton last Saturday: “In the last week or so I’ve made really good progress. I’m getting better and better by the day and feel it’s going well,” he said.
