Yan Couto aims to become a club legend like many of his Brazilian peers who previously played for Borussia Dortmund.

Brazilian right-back Yan Couto, 22, has revealed his desire to become a Borussia Dortmund legend but admits he also needs to reach his full potential at the club, Ufabet Germany reported on Friday. 

Couto has joined Borussia Dortmund on loan from Manchester City for the season, with the Black and Yellows triggering a £25million option to make the deal permanent, with the 22-year-old right-back aiming to follow in the footsteps of fellow Brazilians who have enjoyed success at the club, including Dede, Evanilson and Marcio Amoroso. 

‘There are many Brazilian players who have played here, I think 10 or 11, I’m one of them. I want to be a legend here as well, I will do everything for that. The truth is that the Brazilian players who have played here have always had a strong connection with the fans and people will always remember them,’ Guto said.

Couto also reflected on his first two months at Borussia Dortmund and was aware that he still had to reach his best potential.

‘It’s just a fight with myself to train well, play well, work with my teammates here, to get the best out of myself, and they haven’t seen the best of me สมัคร ufabet here yet. I want to reach my full potential and I’m not there yet. I’m not at my best, but I want to be. If I do that, I’ll be in the national team.’
