Xavier Alonso has revealed that he sees Bayern Munich as the best chance to win the Bundesliga title this season, while remaining humble and targeting a top-four finish.

Leverkusen coach Xavier Alonso has named Bayern Munich as the favourites to win the Bundesliga title this season ahead of their opening game at Borussia Mönchengladbach on Friday, Ufabet reported on Thursday.

Alonso made history by leading Leverkusen to an unbeaten Bundesliga title last season. After Bayern Munich had won the league for the past 11 years and the Bavarians are determined to reclaim the title. While Alonso has eased the pressure on his players by viewing the Bavarian giants as the favourites to succeed.  

‘From my point of view we are not favourites UFABET. For me FC Bayern are favourites again, their squad, their history, it’s clear to see. We will see what we can do but our target is to be in the top four. That’s true, we have a good squad,’ Alonso said ahead of the trip to the Blues. 

For Bayern Munich, there has been a change of coach from Thomas Tuchel to a new coach in Vincent Kompany before signing Hiroi Ito, Michael Olise and Joao Palhinha. With the Bavarians set to open their season at Wolfsburg on Sunday.
